#WednesdayWall Serendipity

I love this photo because it completely happened by chance. When my sister Zoë and I finished our Flower Child photoshoot she changed into her favorite t-shirt and we decided to walk around Uptown until we found a rooftop spot for some drinks and apps. We had just come from a funeral for our childhood friend and we needed to get out and try to think about anything else.

Along our walk, we stumbled upon the most serendipitous spot. An electric Jimi Hendrix mural. We stopped in our tracks and new that this work of art was too good to pass up. Zoë ran across the street to strike a pose and I did my best to keep her shy girl anxiety at bay. This was a much busier area and people were stopping to watch our progress making my little Zozie-bell uncomfortable. I snapped a few quick shots and hoped for the best.
