I am a sweet and sour sauce addict. I have always struggled to find a homemade version that I feel is comparable to what I receive when I order in. I think I finally found the perfect combination, I combined a few recipes I found online and kept tweaking until I found the perfect combination. I am so excited to be able to always have my favorite sauce stocked in my fridge for whenever I get a bit of a craving!


  • 1/2 C. Ketchup
  • 1/3 C. White Vinegar
  • 1/2 C. Water
  • 2 T. Cornstarch
  • 2 t. Soy Sauce


  1. Combine ketchup, vinegar, water and soy sauce in a small pot and bring to a slight boil.
  2. Make a slurry and thicken sauce.
