Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs Stew Meat
  • 1/4 C. Flour
  • 3 T. Olive Oil
  • 3 C. Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Medium Onion-Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic-Mined
  • 1/2 C. Red Wine
  • 1 C. Beef Broth
  • 1/2 t. Paprika
  • 1 T. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 T. Grainy Mustard
  • 3/4 C. Sour Cream
  • 3 T. Butter
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut beef into bite size slices, salt and pepper
  2. Dust beef with flour
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet and brown meat
  4. Transfer to slow cooker
  5. In same skillet add butter, sauté onions, garlic and mushrooms
  6. Deglaze skillet with red wine
  7. Add beef broth, paprika and mustards
  8. Pour over beef in slow cooker and mix together
  9. Cook on high heat for about 2 hours then low heat for 4-5 hours
  10. Prior to serving add sour cream.
  11. Serve over egg noodles
