Every year for my mom’s birthday we have angelfood cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Over the past few years I have begun to make my own whipped cream instead of buying it at the store. I swear this makes all the difference in the perfect dessert. Homemade whipped cream has so much flavor and a smoother creamier texture that it makes any ordinary dessert an absolute homerun. - 1 (16oz) Carton Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 T. Sugar
- Pour whipping cream into your mixer
- Add sugar
- Whip on high until stiff peaks begin to form.
