Frosted Wine Glasses are such an easy DIY project and great for engagement parties or housewarming gifts. This past fall my grandparents came to visit and surprised me with a hand made wine glass holder so naturally I needed some fun wine glasses to go along with it. I was surprised by how easy this project was and I look forward to finding different finishing techniques to try in the future.

You will need:

  • 4 Wine Glasses
  • 1 Pack Rubber Bands in different sizes
  • 1 Can Rust-oleum Frosted Glass Spray Paint

Directions:

  1. Wash and dry glasses
  2. Wrap rubber bands around each glass (you can do however many you want in any pattern)
  3. Place glass upside down on flat surface
  4. Hold can about 6-12 inches away from the glass to spray
  5. Spray glasses with several thin layers to keep from running, wait at least 15 min between each layer.
  6. Let dry for about an hour before removing rubber bands.

Keep in mind that these will need to be hand washed so you don’t rub off the paint.
