A few weeks ago, my friends, Lainie & Greg had a housewarming/engagement party with their friends and family. Although gifts were not requested I can never help myself and I had to make them a little something.
I had some black and white striped canvases that had been painted a while back (not sure what my vision for them was at the time) Using my Cricut Explore I cut out some of the gold iron-on vinyl and ironed them directly onto the canvases. I love this YouTube tutorial (below), it explains perfectly how to use your Cricut to cut out and apply iron-on vinyl.
One of the canvases was a nod to their College and the other was their initials monogrammed with their wedding date. I loved how they turned out and Lainie seemed to be pleased with them too. It was such an easy and fun gift to give I may have to find different versions of these and make more.
