In the past, I have tried my hardest to post a baking recipe for the 25 days of Christmas. And, although this creates some great content for me as a blogger, it isn’t the easiest to plan out a baking calendar for those of you who are following along. So, this year I have decided to combine 25 of my most popular recipes into one post and gift them to you early this year. Merry Christmas and happy baking!

1. BREAKFAST COOKIES

These Oatmeal White Chocolate Chip Cookies with Cranberries taste like Christmas in every bite. The combination of oatmeal and cranberries gives these cookies a morning vibe that is perfect with your early cup of coffee on a snowy day.

2. PEANUT BUTTER CRACK BROWNIES

This recipe is so fun because you can play around with it and really make it your own.  It calls for any brownie batter mix, and this time I decided to mix it up with Betty Crocker’s Salted Caramel Brownie Mix. It was a fun change, but I have to say my favorite for this has been the Ghirardelli Brownie Mix. Other variations can include using dark chocolate chips, Rolos instead of peanut butter cups, and/or switching peanuts for pecans or pretzels. Find the recipe here!

3. HUNKËRDOWN HOLIDAY COOKIES

These thumbprint cookies used a cranberry-orange jam from a local bog, topped with a cinnamon glaze these cookies didn’t last through the night, we couldn’t stop sneaking these delightful treats. These cookies were a new recipe last year, and the recipe I am most looking forward to breaking out this baking season.

6. DARK CHOCOLATE ALMOND CLUSTERS

A fan favorite, Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters.  Simple, delicious, and always a hit.

7. TURTLE BITES

This is by far my easiest recipe during my 25 Days Of Baking. This is a fun recipe to do with a partner because it does come together very fast and it helps to have multiple hands working. They are perfect for cookie exchanges or as a little treat to bring to those dozens of holiday parties we all have this time of year.

8. NO BAKE HOLIDAY ENERGY BALLS

The holiday season is upon us and what better way to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings than making some festive holiday energy balls. These are great to consume pre-workout, as a snack, or as dessert. The bite-size is just enough to appease my cravings for something sweet while also fitting it into my macros!

9. PUPPY CHOW

Puppy Chow is a classic childhood favorite that is good at any time of year. Any camping trip, school event, or girl scout meeting someone always had a giant bag of puppy chow to share. Growing up my house never was very big on puppy chow. After giving it a try in college I can see why its always around. It is so easy to make and completely addicting to eat. It was fun to add these little treats to my 25 Days of Baking list.

10. WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies have been a long-time favorite of mine. Strangely enough, it took me years before ever attempting to make them. Now that I know how easy these soft little bundles of deliciousness are to make they may get a place in the Hunk kitchen baking rotation.

11. PEPPERMINT BARK

My Pinterest page is filled with images of peppermint barks of all shapes and sizes. I have tried my hand at it, although not always my favorite it does seem to be a Christmas staple.

12. TURTLE BARS

Jump off the beaten track and try a not-so-traditional cookie recipe like these Turtle Bars. These bars are so good I have already made a second batch!

These morsels are packed with pretzel bits and chocolate chips in a light and fluffy bar. Make these to enjoy the perfect sweet and salty treat.

14. SALTED CARAMEL BUTTERY CRUMB BARS

These bars are full of caramel-y goodness and the richness of butter cookies to make a perfect balance. And they were so easy! Another bonus is that these are egg-free for anyone with any egg sensitivities.

15. APPLE PECAN UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

To beat the grey and gloomies nothing does the trick like a sweet treat. This beautiful bundt packed with gooey goodness didn’t last more than four hours. A great combination of apple cake, pecans, and brown sugary sauce.

16. BIRDS NESTS

This is one of my Mom’s favorites around the holidays. Growing up these were my least favorite but now as an adult, I tried these again and the combination of sweet and savory was out of this world. Although they aren’t the prettiest things to come out of my 25 Days of Baking they are a fantastic little treat. This is a pretty messy recipe but a fun one to do with small children because they really get to dig in and be hands-on with this one.

Almost every child grows up standing in the kitchen waiting to sneak a spoonful of the cookie dough when Mom isn’t looking.

Now as adults we can enjoy all the cookie dough we want and then some. These Cookie Dough Truffles take that childhood indulgence to a whole new level. These were a popular treat while I was in college and my roommates were always excited when they opened the fridge to find a big bowl of chocolate-covered cookie dough balls waiting for them. This recipe is fairly easy and very fun to make with friends.

18. PAULA DEEN’S BREAD PUDDING

Bread pudding has always been my dad’s weakness. One Christmas I decided to attempt his holiday fave. I scoured the internet for a recipe that would speak to my dad’s southern comfort food roots. I hit the jackpot when I found this recipe. This is Paula Deen’s Bread Pudding recipe found on foodnetwork.com. I wouldn’t change a thing. It takes a little bit of work but it is well worth the effort.

19. MINI CHEESECAKES

Who doesn’t love cheesecake!? By making the perfect dessert into bite-sized morsels they quickly become the best party treat that your guests will rave about for years to come.

20. RICE PUDDING

No rice pudding recipe can ever compete with my Aunt Ruthie’s but this one does come pretty close. This creamy little bit of heaven will have you licking the bowl clean and looking for more. This is a great dish to bring to those family holiday gatherings. But be careful, once you do you won’t be allowed to show up without it in the future.

21. BUCKEYES

Buckeyes have been one of my family’s Christmas traditions for as long as I can remember. I don’t think I would be allowed to open presents Christmas morning if Dad hadn’t gotten his fix at some point in during the Christmas season.  This is also my favorite Christmas cookie. After introducing them to many of my friends they can’t wait for my yearly Christmas Cookie Night when we get together and make our favorites treats together.

22. CHOCOLATE DIPPED PRETZEL RODS

Made from scratch caramel? Check! Sweet Milk Chocolate? Check! Salty Pretzel Rods? Check! Honestly, I can’t think of a more perfect trio. I am going through a sweet and salty phase this year and these chocolate-dipped pretzel rods were the perfect way to fit all of my cravings. I got the whole family involved in making these, not only did we have a blast but I think they turned out just as delicious as you would hope.

I am a sucker for dark chocolate and mint. The fact that I get both in one recipe is a sure-fire way to happiness. I copied this recipe directly off the back of the Hershey’s Kisses Brand Mint Truffles in Dark Chocolate package. It’s important that you do not skip the refrigeration step otherwise this will be a messy pain in the butt to distribute into the baking cups.

24. SNICKER-DOODLES

Snicker-doodles get a very mixed review in my household. My mother has never been a fan of these so I grew up without them. The first time I tried these tasty little guys was in 7th grade Home-Ec. class. One one of our first days working in the kitchen we made these cookies and I couldn’t believe I had been missing out on something so wonderful. Since then I have worked on making several different variations of snicker-doodle treats, but these are such a wonderful classic cookie you can’t go wrong (no matter what my mom says).

25. CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE SWIRL BUNDT CAKE

Another delicious bundt cake to round out this year’s 25 Days of baking list. Again with the cheesecake but this time combined with a devine and dense fudgey cake.
