#WednesdayWall: Americana

This year on Hunkiedorië we will be doing a #WednesdayWall Instagram series. Each week Hunkiedorië will feature a street mural matched with a LipSense color. Bringing together two of my favorite things, art, and lipstick

After months of Google research, I felt I had a pretty good idea of what walls I would be using, but as I explore more and more of the Twin Cities, my list grows longer. We kick off the series today in true 4th of July fashion. My friend Danielle, founder of Minne Pristine & Co. sought out the perfect American flag wall. We had two options to choose from. One was an impressionist style eagle wall located at 3209 Snelling Ave. S. The other was a vibrant American flag outside the James Ballentine Uptown VFW Post #246.
We settled on the eagle wall, loving the faded tones and variety of images incorporated into the mural. Unfortunately, when we got to our destination we found the wall had been fenced into some sort of construction site. With that option squashed we traveled over to our backup.  The VFW wall was perfect, exactly what my Instagram dreams are made of. Danielle is wearing Fly Girl LipSense.
