Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place flour and steak seasoning in a plastic bag. 
  2. Add meat cubes, a few at a time, shaking to coat. 
  3. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven brown meat in hot oil. 
  4. Drain fat. 
  5. Stir in V8, water, onion, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon granules, oregano, marjoram, pepper, and bay leaves. 
  6. Bring to a boil then reduce heat. 
  7. Simmer, covered, for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until meat is nearly tender.
  8. Stir in potato, and carrot. 
  9. Return to boil then reduce heat. 
  10. Transfer to slow cooker and cook on high for about 5-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
